Do you see anything different today? It is the same Sun
rising in the morning, it is the same faces we see in our home & then in
the train while going to the office. Inside the office, it is again the same
people, same faces! No, nothing different except that everybody is wishing each
other a Happy New Year rather than Good Morning! Numbers of mails have increased, numbers of
SMS have increased!
After getting so many wishes and messages, I started
thinking that there must be something different today for we have decided to
mark this day as a New Year’s day!
I tried to look around, I found nothing much is different
around. Be it the trees, be it the buildings, be it the streets….. everything
is same! For the child in the street, for the mother in the footpath it is
another day of survival.
But, we make the day different because we have decided to
look at it like this. We wanted to see the day a special one because we like
changes, not merely counting years. What if we want to see everyday a different
one? Because, everyday is a new day, it’s a new life, it’s a new opportunity,
it’s a new threat, it’s a journey to the unknown!
We wanted the day to be different because we wanted some celebrations!
We needed an occasion, a cause to celebrate. What, if we can celebrate every day?
Celebration doesn’t mean spending only. Celebration also can be a celebration
of heart! We can celebrate if we can see things in a different way, if we can
see every morning a different morning a different day altogether. Whatever may
come, good or bad, it’s a different morning, different day, a new day
altogether.
Look with a difference, meaning of life will change. Our
life will change!
